This gallery focuses on a breakdown of the tents and baracks kits that I have built for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
These were made as military kits and ended up being used across the game, wherever we had military settlements.
--------------------------
For the baracks, the workflow was pretty straightforward. The different components (wall tile, trims, addons) were first blocked out in Modo, then sculpted in Zbrush, after which everything was baked in Marmoset then textured in Substance Painter.
----
For the tents, the way I went about them was to blockout the main dimensions/modules in Modo, then I brought those meshes as garments (via their corresponding uvs) into Marvelous and simulated them against the metal framework. This process was done both for the parts using the tileable textures as well as for the parts using trims.
