Wolfenstein 2: Factory

New Orleans (part 2&3) were the levels I worked on after moving on from the cutscene department into the gameplay team.
Before I joined, a lot of the ground work for the level was laid by Rajmund Wegner (https://www.artstation.com/w_ray) in terms of main exterior materials, trim textures and building addons. Therefor, I primarily focused on modeling, material blending and set dressing for the areas I worked on.

The factory area is one of my favorite pieces because the theme of the place but also because intially it was supposed to be a completlly different environment (parking lot) and, starting with an idea that Ray had, we started to prototype this whole new place together with J. Heckley(lev.design). It was a very organic process between art and gameplay and it will remain probably one of my favorite areas for some time! :)
