This is the HQ of the corporation running the arcology where the game takes place. This was a level we have built towards the end of the production and it aimed to stand apart from the rest of the game by incorporating a lot of simplicity both in terms of architecture as well as on the set dressing side.
My responsibilities included level building, lighting, asset creation, post-process, as well as the technical setup of the level, bug fixing and optimization.
One particular thing with this level was that both the AGI room as well as the main meeting room had to be integrated with the cutscenes taking place in those spaces.
The AGI room base was built by Tor and I took over from him to finish it off. For the main meeting room, I have built the initial state of the room, passed it over to Magnus and he did the ship crashing effect. Once that was done, I started from the destruction generated by him and created a world state in which the entire room would be affected by the crash (added more set dressing around the destruction, tweaked materials in the room, adjusted the lighting, added more particles to support the destruction, etc).
